STORY
OUR FIRST MET
We first met on October 13th, 2018, when she came to the C++ class I was teaching to take attendance for the students. I remember initially noticing her big (a little chubby) belly, but as we talked, I was attracted to her intelligence and gentleness. However, later on, I realized that I was wrong, she was intelligent, but not gentle at all.
OUR FIRST DATING
After a few weeks of talking and getting to know each other, I finally worked up the courage to ask her out on a date. I decided to take her to a cute little ice cream shop on Phan Dang Luu street, just opposite Nguyen Hien High School. I remember choosing this place because it was cheap, but I also thought it would be a fun and casual setting for us to get to know each other better.
BECOMING A COUPLE
After a few more dates, I realized that I had fallen deeply in love with her, and I knew that I wanted to make our relationship official. It was on January 2nd, 2019 that I asked her to be my girlfriend, and she said yes! I remember feeling so happy and excited, like I was on top of the world.
THE PROPOSAL
On November 30th, 2021, I proposed to her near Dragon Bridge. I didn't say anything romantic, but I gave her a ring and told her it was my gift. She said yes, and we were both overjoyed. It was a simple and spontaneous moment, but it was perfect for us and the start of our engagement.
OUR ENGAGEMENT
On March 20th, 2022, we celebrated our engagement surrounded by our closest family and friends. It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment that marked the start of our journey towards marriage.
AND TODAY... WE ARE GETTING MARRIED
WHERE & WHEN
We are thrilled to announce that our wedding celebrations will be held over two days, on May 27th and May 28th, 2023. The first ceremony will take place on May 27th at the bride's family home in Hue, followed by a second ceremony on May 28th at the groom's family home in Da Nang.
